This entire ridge is like a winter wonderland, and the evergreen smell captivates ones senses!! If you don’t smell it you need to have your smeller checked!!! Which I will have James’s checked when we get to Yuma!!! Have a great day!!! S/J

This ride was loaded with wild flowers. Look at the mountains. Our pictures do this ride zero justice, I’m just saying!!! And all along the Washington highways you see so many wild flowers. Lupines are everywhere!!! They have happy highways here!!! S/J

You see the snow patch right a way, the white in the distance is fog on the Puget Sound. So amazing how this sets in in the mornings. From an actual distance it looks like clouds. At one point we saw a huge cargo barge. S/J

One big curve on the ride, you can still see snow capped mountains. It was a great ride. S/J

This visitor center in Olympic NP burned completely down last year. It is at the end of Hurricane Ridge Rd. which is a touristy road to take and see the mountains and take a few hikes. To this day they still do not know what caused the fire. Now they Continue Reading
