4 Decker Acres Farm, Hop Bottom, Pa.

We just spent the most amazing week with people we only met on June 7. As you know if you have been reading the blog, my friend Megan had us go to her friends Chris and Frank in Hop Bottom. We only just left today , one week later at 11:45 am and we drove to Mystic Ct. to stay until Thursday. From here we will drive to Greenland NH to see (hopefully) an old friend en route to Maine.

The deal with the tub!!!!!When you go to Chris and Franks you gotta get a Bath Tub shot. This old tub is just above a creek and you can decide if we really have clothes on or NOT!! It is a tradition that Chris does and we saw some of the funniest shots of peeps that had been in the tub. What a hoot.

I will try to put more pics on from the farm. Not enough words to explain the hospitality and kindness the Schutz’s and Deckers gave us!! Thank you!!

  5. I can imagine that you will be making new friends like these in Hop Bottom, as you go along.
    They sound wonderful and how lucky were you? It sounds as if it was hard to leave Pa.
    I love the picture in the tub and I’m guessing that you were 1/2 clothed as it is not a selfie so
    one of your new friends took the shot. Well, only you will know…………..that is sure a keeper!

    I have visited Mystic and loved that little seaside town.
    I did go out to lunch with a friend yesterday, Outdoor cafe, still keeping our distance and masks on in the car. It was a nice day to dine out.
