Such a cool highway. This is coming out of Page Az. on our way to Williams. Just to the right is the Colorado River. We drove through most of the town and drove by Horseshoe Bend, which they now have a paved parking lot, booths to collect entrance fees and so the story goes. I am all about money for the parks etc. but to charge people to get on a tour bus and pay big bucks to be driven to this area and then you walk down to the edge, which I feel sure you can’t get as close as we did in 2017, is a little over the top. I just hope you get more than this stop for the 189 they charge. It is a site to stop and see if you never have but you can drive your own car into the lot. You can google Horseshoe Bend in Page Az. and see what it looks like!! Have an outdoor day!! Our 6 month journey is almost over but I can tell you I am ready to plant myself in Yuma for the winter, camped out!!! Been a grand ride! S & J
