On Thursday we drove from Mission Bay to Mission Beach for a boardwalk bike ride before we drove back to Yuma. What a beautiful beach. The boardwalk was so cool and the housing/apt.condo rentals were right on the boardwalk and then deep behind the side streets. I have never seen anything like this and we have been to many coastlines. I am amazed at the difference between beaches and the infrastructure. The boardwalk was full of walkers, bikers, roller skaters, skate boarders, all walks of life. It was a clean beach but lots of homeless, and the RV’s in those lots were in abundance as well. Many of them looked like they did not run!!!! Who knows.
It was a beautiful coast line and we had a wonderful day on our bikes in the sun. Managed to sit outside at a taco place and shared a quick lunch before we headed home. Another great day in California. S & J
