So while in Wallace we decided to stop and take a picture while riding bikes. This manhole is in the middle of the street downtown and it says it is the “center of the Universe”. All people stop and take pictures. Whether it truly is or not is beyond me. Wallace is a lovely town and we ended up staying here for one week. Getting back on the road today and heading to Boise. We met lots of locals and I think we went into each place that is opened. Most places don’t open until 4 or 5 and many were closed the weekend. No big deal, these workers that do show up for work need a day or two off. Now that they are stopping unemployment bennies, maybe some of these people will go get work. We have traveled many places since we left NC in may of 2020, I should have started counting all the help wanted signs. It is as sad as these wild fires out west. Have a great day!! Be groovy!!
