Kayaking in New Port Richey

On Monday James and I drove to Lake City Fla. and played golf, when we finished we camped in the parking lot at the course. Tuesday we drove to Brooksville Florida to play another course and we hooked up with our nephew Austin and his wife Andrea. We backed the camper into Andreas parents home and had a lovely cookout with Austin and Andrea. Spent the night and today, Wednesday we hung out at their house. They have back yard pools, Austin had to work (he works from home), I rode my bike to get a pedi and a mani and when I got home James and Austin were out in the bay, one in the kayak and the other on the jet ski. Austin came back to the house and picked me up and we went out to where James was still trying to catch that fish!!! Anyway the kayak was a paddle one so I helped James paddle back to the house. The wind was tough but we managed. I have always sat down in a kayak and this was a sit in a chair kayak. I just knew I was going to tip us over, my balance sucks. We made it back dry and we will cook out again tonight and James and I will get back on the road tomorrow heading south toward the keys. Not sure where we will drive to, we do not have a destination, just to get about 300 miles under our belt. So until we get to the keys, we shall see you next time. Have a great day. S & J
