We left Leavenworth on the 12th. Had a wonderful visit with Carson and friends in Levy. We were able to stay most of the trip in a friends driveway so we played cards and had great conversations. Very nice cool weather and sunny days!! One good rain morning but they need it as does all other places. We said our goodbyes and drove to Baker City Oregon where we stopped at A Frame Campground to spend the night. We rode our bikes to town to get a bite to eat and I sent a picture of the campground to my friend Lynn from Yuma. They were making there way to Leavenworth to see Harry/Carolyn also and then they will jump on a train to Seattle and board a cruise ship heading to Alaska! So when she got the picture she called me, “are you watching me”? I laughed and said no I just wasn’t sure where you were in travels and thought I would share this cool campground. It is right off of 84 and before Pendleton Oregon. They already had a reservation there so when we rode bikes back to camper they were parked 3 down from us. So good to see them. Lynn and I worked together 21/22 season and had many laughs. Had not seen her since April when we left AZ. Anyway, Baker City is centered around the Oregon Trail. Old, cool town with lots of history and historical (very) houses. Great travel stop!! S/J
