Lake Michigan

We walked out on a jetty to this lighthouse at the harbor in Port Washington Wisconsin. Quaint little town that you can walk to everything. The water on this lake is so blue/green/blue, pick your color. This is the lighthouse, looked like a time capsule to me. Anyway this is James under neath on a huge slab of concrete. The water splashes up along the entire walk. Pretty are here so it felt good.

We walked around the town, got laundry done, had lunch and then I went into a meat/cheese store. OMG! They have this huge brick tiny house that is the smoker. He was smoking some fresh sausage on Thursday. When you walk inside the store the smell just made me want to stand and not move. The meats were gorgeous and I bought a few local cheeses for the RV. They had brats, well I will just say types of sausages anyway you want them. I mean it is Wisconsin!!

Every boat we saw come in had a ton of fresh fish caught. Must be a Great Lake to fish!! Anyway, golfing today. Not sure what day we leave here. We are parked in a park and ride lot right off the highway.

Have a great day!! Thanks for all the comments!!

  1. Try some walleye while there great freshwater fish to eat, like flounder. Also don’t forget to visit Wisconsin Dells, very cool area and not far from you. Are you going to Lambeau Field too?

    Take care and be safe

  2. Great picture. Enjoy the cheese and the brats!
Sounds like a very cool place. Is there a limit at the individual parks on the amount of days that you can stay? Just curious.

Enjoying time with M and M at the beach. My friend comes today and Mikelles friend comes
tomorrow. Michael will probably run away being with 4 women.

  4. James the REAL Light house is on top of the bluff about 200 feet above lake level. That little thinv is a Nav. Aid. Next time you come to Port we will hook you up at a nearby camp site and the 4 of us can go exploring.
