Look at these two good looking men. James and his friend, Bill Bonds. Now he is my friend!!!We had a great day on the golf course. So beautiful and real grass to hit off of. Thank you Bill Bonds for a spectacular day of golf.
We were going to go out to dinner with him and his wife, but I finally landed a campsite in South Dakota so we wanted to get a head start on the road after golf. We had 956 miles to drive by Monday to check in. So we hit the road at 420 (haha) and just pulled out on a rest area to sleep. Got a big chunk knocked out so tomorrow when we hit the road. we will drive a bit, stop explore and drive a bit more. Same thing for Sunday and this will make an easy cruise in on Monday. We will be in Hot Springs SD at a campground, which is near all the things we want to see and do while there.
We will cross into Minnesota in the morning. So many things to see and do and we just can’t do them all, we sure are trying. We stopped at this station off of I-90 to fuel up and they had soooooo many cheeses to pick. If I lived in Wisconsin I think I would stay stoved up!! So many choices!! And I still can’t get over the meat house we went in , in Port Washington Wisconsin. I can still smell the smoke!! Love love it.
So until next post….be groovy and stay safe, wear a mask. Heard today they started all over in Milwaukee with the shutdowns. We were gonna drive to Green Bay but the hwy sucked so we chose not to. I can see Green Bay on tv. I know not the same..
