Th is belongs to Blake Shelton, you know the country music guy!!!! James and I left NC on Sunday Sept. 22. We got to the first rest stop and we had an extra person on board. LOL. My friend Lisa is traveling with us so we have had a great time. First day we made it to Alabama. We are now in Oklahoma City at the fairgrounds. We stopped in Vicksburg Mississippi for one night, then drove to Texarkana with a stop in Shreveport for lunch and enjoyed Oysters!!! Stopped in Texarkana Arkansas for the night, the lady from the campground called me yesterday while we were on the road. She says, did you stay in B6 last night, I said yes ma’am, she said the power box looks as though it was run over. I said when you assigned that site to us you told my husband that the power box is a bit bent over but you can still use it. So I told her we did not hit it, and I bet she thought she was going to be able to charge us for the box. Bullshit!!!
We drove to Tishimungo Oklahoma, went to the campground we found and drove right back out, located another so we went to that one and we drove right out. We went to Blake Sheltons Bar/Grill in town and had a beer with nachos, little truck break and then took off and came on into Oklahoma City. We have tons to do here. Away from bad weather. We will stay until Saturday or Sunday and head to Amarillo then into NM Oct. 1. Great travels so far, so we have been through, NC, SC, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and this is since the 22nd. Rolling on down the highway.
