In total (45) horses along the canal. It is a replica of the 1889 land run in Oklahoma. Only five women were in the run. They were on a race to tag the land they wanted. They did an amazing job with these statues . The guy in the front wagon was the actual artist of this scene. On the other side of the canal is more horses and the front guy on that side was carrying a flag to tag the land. You can google the land run of 1889 and read all about it. S/J
