When James got back from his fishing adventure we headed over to Cannon Beach. Not a parking spot in sight, it was packed, it was beyond packed. I did sneak up a side street so James could at least see the Haystack Rocks that are so incredibly amazing just to see in the water, but that was as close as we got to the beach. We took off back toward Astoria and stopped at Seaside Beach. Easier to find parking and we just wanted to walk out to the water and he took a CHILLY dip. He said the water in Maine was colder.
This was a really beautiful spot and today we will go back and take our bikes to ride on the large open path from one end to the other.
