Bennett Winery

On Saturday August 22, James and I left Astoria and headed to Veneta Oregon. This is where we are having work done on the RV. We found a winery in Cheshire that was on our HarvestHost list so we decided to camp there for the night. It was just 10 miles from out RV repair guy, worked out perfect. I guess there was about 7 other RV’s in the field, they also had a live band Saturday night and a BBQ food truck. They had quite the crowd and a good time was had by all. We were able to meet all kinds of people. Some were escaping the wild fires in California. The picture you see below is only part of the vineyard, however the place was maculate and extremely well maintained. Usually the wineries only have maybe 2 campers over night but the gentlemen had plenty of room so he thought why not!!!

It was a great stop over and I am glad we did it. These places are free to stay but as you know I like to drink a glass or 12 of wine so it really isn’t free. It is all good. So we got up next day and headed to our repair shop.

The adventure awaits!

Hugs,

S & J
