This was pretty cool. I just dropped James off upstream to kayak/float down the Deschutes River. It runs right through town and it brings tons of people out into the waters. I am sitting down stream where he will arrive in a bit. Trying to catch up with the blog and enjoying the people watching. It is so great to hear all the screams from the children and see them enjoy the outdoors. Bend has a ton of parks and things to do.
I did go into a salon to get a hair cut. Ouch…..got it whacked off and way more then I wanted but that’s what happens when you know no one and your ready for shorter hair. It will grow!! Makes no difference to me I suppose, what the hell can you do now!!
So this kayak tower is at the center of the entrance to one area where you get into the river to float down. I found it quite interesting.
