You honestly can’t see all the trees in this desert, however they are in abundance. It is quite a sight. It was nice to go to this NP and it was way different then what I was expecting. On the way to this stop we did a detour over to this place called Slab City. That was an eye opener. You are driving along and you see motor homes, vans, wooden fences, tire fences, water boxes, and people.They refer to them as squatters. It is like an organized BLM land but it isn’t. Some and I could probably say most of these living quarters have not run in decades. It was the craziest thing I think I have ever seen. I did take a few pictures but it does no justice. I choose not to post them. You can google slab city and read about it.
