After getting back from the wedding we had a month to get the camper reloaded from storage and get the tiny house closed up for the summer. Not a hard task and way easier this year. We packed so much less and left many things in Arizona. We left on April 29 and headed north. Our first stop was 6 hours away in Boulder City NV. We stayed in the lot of an Elks Lodge (free) for the first night. The next day we drove to Wells NV and stayed in a lot at the Flying J, (free) then we drove north heading for Boise Idaho to see friends from Yuma. This picture is of a rec. area along highway 78 before Murphy Idaho. We got off of 84 and followed the snake river. We were looking for the ultimate pull off and this is what we came upon. The tall mountain in the back was full of snow and this area had lots of little trails to take off on any direction. It was quiet, no tractor trailer motors running all night and we slept until 9am in the cool temps of Idaho!! (free) Next day we drove into Boise to Nettie and Goosebumps place, parked in driveway full hookups and we had a blast. Always good to see the 2 of them and James and I really like Boise. We had couple nice dinners out and Nettie took me to her favorite park and we sat on the bench and caught up. We left Boise on the 4th and drove to Pendleton Oregon and stayed in the lot at Wild Horse Casino. The next day we drove to Walla Walla Washington and finally paid to stay somewhere!!! It was a quaint campground and we took the trolley to town and next day we rode bikes to town. Now we have arrived in Leavenworth Washington to hang out with Carson for the week, off to Bellingham Wa. for 3 nights then trek into Canada May 18. We will spend most of the summer in Canada. I will post as I can. Most likely will be several at a time, not sure what our internet system will be. We arrived in Levy a day early for our reservation so we stayed in Carolyn and Harry’s driveway the first night. They are friends also from Yuma. I will post few more pictures from our first week back on the road. We wish everyone a safe and healthy summer!! S & J
