This Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat factory was way cool to see. They make all bats for the MLB here using, Ash, Maple, or Birch wood from a forest they own on the border of NY and Penn. We watched how they made them and the finishing touches, if they want them engraved, we even got a small bat at the end of the tour. All players usually order 100 bats per year for their season and of course the teams they play for pay for them.
We rode our bikes to this museum and forgot the phone at the camper. We had to ride back the next day to get this picture outside, so we have no pictures from the inside. They had several statues inside of retired prominent players and of course different interest facts along the tour. Could have gotten pics of the machines etc. If your curiosity gets you take a trip to Louisville and check it out, you can also experience the amazing tastes of good Bourbon!!! S/J
