Good morning…..8/11/22. This is actually an old picture that we took when we were in Yellowstone, 2018. With us going back to Cody, brings back good times and good vibes. The entrance to Yellowstone closest to Cody is still shut down from the floods last month and we weren’t going to drive around our ass to get to another one. We spent 5 days in the park in 2018 and went in and/or out of each entrance so we have seen it, experienced it and even got to witness the dumb asses that chase the Bison or ask a park ranger when they let the bears out for feeding. Could you imagine having a circuit that short!!!! Anyway we left Cody on Sunday and drove through Montana and stopped on I-90 between Butte and Missoula and slept in a closed down weigh station. It was a loud sleep or should really say rest. We were over 5k elevation again so we had to run the generator for the refrigerator. No big deal you just sleep with 2 eyes open instead of 1!!!! On Monday we drove into Wallace Idaho for a night and rode the trails and downtown. This is one of our favorite places to stop in Idaho as long as we are in the area! We met some travelers downtown outside at an establishment and one of the guys was actually in our campground and he stays in Yuma in the winter also. He transplanted from California! Other couple from Ohio and they are riding /tent camping all over the place. They are fixing to head back to Ohio until they figure the next trip. Lovely people and it is always so fun to explore other peoples ideas and adventures. We were only able to stay one night in Wallace so Tuesday we drove our route to Washington so we arrived a week early. The beautiful wheat fields we passed and the mountain ranges. WOW!!! It is great to see Carson and Taylor. We are here until Sept. 9 and will head back to Yuma then. So we have a nice long time here in Washington, many friends live here from Yuma so we will get to see them. Also have some friends coming in from Canada to camp with us for 5 days. That will be a hoot. Have a wonderful day and rest of week. Will post as I can and share some good times!! Be groovy……Hugs. S & J
