We had a lovely day in Sequoia NP yesterday. The Sequoia’s are massive. They had a big fire here in 2021 and the destruction is extremely sad. James and I are camping in Three Rivers California and the entrance to the park is 4 miles north of us. Very convenient. Continue Reading

These peaks you see are called tufa’s. This is Mono Lake and our camp spot was just across the street from the Mono Lake Basin. The height of these salt forms is how high the water was at one time. My friend Sue Reaves from home told me about this Continue Reading

This is where we took the shuttle to. Now we are in Three Rivers California about 4 miles from the entrance to Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. We are here for 3 days and will see way more then this. Can’t wait and we will share!!! S/J

This was right when we got into park and daylight occurred. So peaceful. You can tell these animals are so use to people. Nothing phases them!! S/J

I just new we would see a bear walking through here. No such luck!! Those are trees on top of that huge rock… S/J

Our country is a wonder!! So many beautiful things to see! I certainly expected to see someone repel off this massive rock. S/J

This is the road going in and coming out. It is washed out so they had it down to one lane. Kind of scarey looking down but we drove right through!! S/J
