This was another fun stop. We are camping not too far from here. In the middle of Sedona, Cottonwood, and Jerome is around the bend. We went yesterday after Sedona but could not find a parking space so we will try again today. Funny story from Sedona, I am walking in and out of stores, a sweet little old lady asked the attendant to see a bracelet, she wanted to know how much it was before she took it out of the case. Well the lady took it out and put it on the customers wrist and said this is 518.. I said five dollars and 18 cents and she said to me, 518 dollars as she looked as though I was crazy!! So I said I guess that watch over here I want to see is 1k. She said no, 559 dollars. Needless to say Susan came out of the store with no new watch!!! My $9. walmart watch tells the exact same time. I knew it wasn’t 5 dollars, I wanted to see what the sales person would say and do. Anyway Cottonwood is another lovely small town in Az. James and I went to church, actually we went to an old church building that is now a brewery. They still had the bell in it so the tar bender would go out on the hours and ring the bell. They happened to be having a bike rally this weekend. Lots of bikers flock to these small towns. We have one more day here and we will get on the road in the morning and drive to Yuma. We will plant ourselves there for the winter. Stay safe…. S & J
