This is the river I am sitting by and James is kayaking down. Right now the sides you see are full with people and the rapids on the right draws a crowd of surfers that go back and forth on the waves. Some of them are really good. When I was in the Grand Turks they called it Flo riders. Not sure the proper name here. The left side is for the tubers and whatever people decide to use to come downstream. This runs right through the town and walking and bike trails all around.

One of my favorite craft beers is a Deschutes Porter. Gorgeous scenery and great beer — what a combo. I really wish I could be there.

Love the Deschutes. Enjoy all Oregon has to offer. Some great golf courses there.
