Today while we were getting ready to ride bikes on this stretch of closed road the elk ere lounging in the yard. It is a state park (part of the state parks and national park for the redwoods). We counted 8 at the time, they roam wild and are quite interesting to watch. Did not see any other wild life today, elk and deer!!! This was the Elk Prairie State Park. Happy Easter !!! S&J
