We walked each place we went while visiting SD. This area is very popular and they close this section of the street off on the weekends. Lots of pedestrian traffic and a wonderful place to people watch. You experience all walks of life. Nothing should shock you on this block but I will admit I usually am by at least one person, each time I go. Have a great day. S/J
