This live oak tree is amazing and here I thought they were only in SC!! This particular oak is inside the walls of The Alamo, and it was transferred to this spot in 1913 and at that time it was 44 years old. They didn’t think it would continue to live after being relocated. It is huge and beautiful and with all the branches going every which way you can vision small children having a big time climbing and playing! Last time we saw oaks like this we were in Saint Simons Island SC coming back from St. Augustine Fl. That was before our rig travel days!! Have a great day!! S & J
