This is a beautiful staircase like waterfall on Hwy. 2 going toward East entrance of Glacier from the west side. You can actually see it from the hwy and can get out of cars and walk around/climb. It has a lovely sound of the waterfall. We also went to the Continue Reading

This is a shot from the roadside at Hungry Horse Dam. As you can see still snow at the top of Glacier. We still can not get into Glacier during regular hours because of their stupid permit limit and you can’t get them. We will call each day and they Continue Reading

This was an interesting dam. First one I think I have seen that had zero trickles going over the walls. It was really nice and completed in 1953 I believe and is on the South Fork of the Flathead River. S & J

This was a beautiful view toward Glacier from the reservoir and this nest was just along the shore. As you can see we still have snow on the tops of Glacier, therefore GTSR is still not opened for cars, still blocked at Avalanche. We rode around a bit at the Continue Reading

This was our little side trip today. We went to Hungry Horse Reservoir to see the dam and this was a bonus. It was flowing down hill quite fast and going under the road into the reservoir. We saw another waterfall yesterday on 2 East near Essex, however I forgot Continue Reading

This is the bed of water that we floated down in our Duckie kayak on Friday. The water was at like 18000cfs and it was moving pretty quick. They don’t really have the rapids that the white water section has but we floated to our bridge in about one hour Continue Reading

On Friday, James and I got a round of nine holes in at Glacier View where we are staying and working. It was a beautiful morning, a little wind and so funny to watch the pollen blow across the fairways. It was like big clouds of smoke. Never seen anything Continue Reading
