Coming over the hill on the highway on our way to Yuma we approach Lake Mead. This is the Lake Mead Recreation area. It is a man made lake that lies on the Colorado River. It is 24 miles southeast of the Vegas strip in the states of Nevada and Continue Reading

This too was in Rhyolite, the ghost town. Entire house is made of glass bottles. We could not get closer because of the fence. Couple of campers were behind it so somebody lives in that ghost town!! It was a great way to end our adventure to Death Valley. Today, Continue Reading
