This is one of the trails we took. It ended at a large overlook into the Pacific Ocean. To the right of the overlook you could see people in the surf fishing. Probably looking for the big catch of Salmon. Just another nice enchanted forest!! S & J

This park is located outside of Ilwaco Washington, just across the Columbia River from Astoria. It is the headland of the Pacific Northwest and is at the most extreme southwest corner of Washington on the north side of the Columbia River.
