Here it is already June 4. We have been in NC since Thursday May 31. We arrive at our friends place (Dixie) in Charlotte. We stayed at her house on that night and caught up, did our laundry and had a wonderful full power shower!! It’s the little things, water pressure!!! Anyway so Friday we go to Corey’s for 5 days and enjoy time with him and Morgan. We headed out on the 31st and went back to Dixie’s. We picked up our camper, regrouped went out for a wonderful Mexican dinner, one of our old favorites. On the 1st we came to our old neighbors in Locust and we are camping in their driveway. Having yet more nice showers!!!! We have visited old friends and some of my clients I had when I was working. Today the 4th they are having a back yard cookout with more old friends and neighbors. It is fun to see all persons and to just listen to the stories. Biggest question we get is what has been your favorite place. That is a very tough question. Anyway, when James and I were returning to Jeff and Shelley’s we came upon this beautiful bird strutting across the street. This is our old street of 14 years. I got many different shots and when he got across the street he let us know!!! They are so loud, we remember all the ones we heard and saw in St. Augusting Fla. Quite lovely!!! Anyway we leave here Sunday and head over by the speedway of Charlotte and park at Lisa’s house. Can’t wait to get a haircut. Wed. the 8th we go back to Corey’s for many days.
