Plant in Yuma

Not sure the name of this plant but it is a bush around many walls in the resort we are staying. It is a vibrant waxy green leaf and curly. Blooms a delicate white flower, no smell.

We are getting settled in our winter resort. We had our first day of work yesterday. James and I worked together so we only had to work 7-10. It was great. This is what we did and what we will do. Common area, pool, laundry room, card room, craft room, pool table room, library. Anyway we just have to wipe all door knobs in and out, counter tops where they have them, inside of washers and make sure lint is out of dryers. Wipe down all chairs around pool and tables on patios. Sweep leaves. Easy peasy stuff and all for free hookup, internet and now we have cable!!!!!LOL

It was a fun day, done at ten and then you have rest of day. We will do this on Tuesdays and Thursdays and then on Friday and Saturday I have kitchen duty. Not sure what I will do in that position but I will find out Friday. They offer breakfast and lunch here (they charge) and then weekend dinners on Saturday. James will have night host on Saturdays from 4-10 and he rides around in a golf cart, checks on people and locks gates at end of shift. Helps people park too if they arrive late.

We will see how it goes. So far all ok. What the hell right. We are 10 miles from Mexico and California line. We can drive to border and walk into Mexico, town called Algodones. We are 5 minutes from the airport and they have a Marine Base here and tons of fruits and veggies. Pretty exciting.

Hope each of you have a great day.

Stay safe!!
