This was back in the woods at the trail head. I was standing around taking it all in and looked up at this magnificent rock. It does not matter which side of these states you are on you will discover the colors, shapes,sizes, of the mountains, slots, canyons and so on . A new vision every time you look. Like you can drive hundreds if miles in the desert all over Nevada and slap dab in the middle is this huge city (Vegas). Somebody back in the day had a big vision. It kind of cracks me up. So much beauty around.

That is a beautiful view! I think the art ladies need to paint some of your pictures. Glad you made it through that lonely desert.
I love the landscapes out west and the vastness. I remember the first time I went in the late 80s. We saw the Rocky Mountains and they looked so close…think it took us over a day and a half to drive through Colorado before we were even close. Love your pics and descriptions!
