Just by turning a bit you have another view of the mountain range behind our resort. It is so quiet back here and even sitting at the pools you have a wonderful view. We drove around a bit today to check things out. Came across some cool things. Next week, maybe Sunday we will drive over to Vegas and stay a few nights. Then we will do a day trip or 12 and go to Death Valley NP with at least 2 cases of water!! You know in the shade here it is not bad, no humidity, but the dead sun it is hot. I could really live here if not for that. I am walking at 7 am in these parts, even 9 am is breath taking, to me anyway.

while you’re in the Vegas area try to check out Red Rock Canyon or Valley of the Fires. Both awesome but Valley of the Fires was the better of the two. Have fun and wave to Joe while you’re passing through Vegas.
