Such an interesting day!! We left Lincoln about 745 Saturday morning and were driving to Estes Park Co. We are on 80 west for a long time, I am driving at this time and we come upon stopped traffic. We saw warning signs for another route ………anyway we stayed on the highway and people are starting to get frustrated after no movement for a while and they start turning around on the median. About 6 tour buses from South Dakota pass us earlier and they are stuck in same pattern. As you can see this bus thought, oh I can cross over and do a detour. NOT It was really a stupid move on his part. Just up the highway was a paved area for crossing but only for authorized vehicles. You all know what I am talking about. That is where I did my turn around. I knew I couldn’t get the truck and 32 foot camper across with that ditch. All the other tour buses got turned around to help this driver. Don’t know if they got him out or not, we took the detour and went on our way. We drove the entire trip, weren’t going to but since I drove some it gave James a break. Today we go to see the Rockies play in Denver. We leave all things at the campground in Estes and go for the day. S & J
