You can see the train. This was as far as it goes so we departed the train onto this sidewalk. The brown rocks beside the rail is where 2 young men walked up from below as we were parking. They had hiked a trail and when they reached the summit 14k feet, they hopped the rail and went inside the building. They said it took them 51/2 hours to hike and they rode the train back down. I was impressed. One guy had already done it and the one with him was his first time. It was 23 when we arrived at 1:15 with a wind chill factor of 11 degrees. To me the only thing that was cold was the wind. The view to the right side, below is Colorado Springs. You could see forever. It was an amazing adventure!! S/J
