On our 2nd day in Durango we took this train to Silverton. It was an amazing ride through San Juan National Forest, and did we see some colors. The ride was 3 1/2 hours up, 2 hours to walk around Silverton grab some lunch and 3 1/2 hours back. We followed the Anamis River and it was quite cool. The leaves were picture perfect, you could look, take pictures and didn’t have to drive. A wonderful adventure. S & J
