On our travels to Bend from Grants Pass we drove on some awesome highways. This is on 138 in the Deschutes National Forest. The snow on the ground was scraped to the edge. Not sure how much they had this year in this area but it was pretty sweet. The mountains were incredible with the snow caps. Very peaceful to ride through the woods after being in the desert for 5 months. The north entrance to Crater Lake is still closed. Need to find another entrance to get in that park before we leave Oregon. I went with Carson 2 years ago when I was visiting, but we need to make sure James see’s it. Last fall when we were here we got burned out with the fires. Saw the damage to the forest coming back into the different towns. Take a hike!!!! S & J
