This is the resort where we are. This mountain is one of many behind us. You can get to the base if you hike through the desert. Hot as hell though so you better pack your water!! Apparently they have wild horses back in the field and the people ride their side by sides etc. back on the land. And our one neighbor has a side by side and he goes back in there and our other neighbor said on the other side of this mountain is a ski resort. So even though it does not snow in Pahrump, in the winter you would see snow on the peaks of these mountains and I am quite sure it is a lovely sight.
