We left Peoria on Wednesday morning and got as far as Gallup New Mexico. We stopped and stayed in a Walmart parking lot with 15 other RVers and 12 18 wheelers!!! What a hoot. Slept like crap but all in all it was good. So driving 40 was a great ride and you just see so many beautiful things along the way. This rock was along the interstate and it captured my eye. We were not quite to New Mexico yet and to see the different levels of land and what lies where is amazing on our entire journey. I love Arizona and the entire west because you always see such different landscapes. You see that on the east coast too but something about the mountains, the buttes, the long as ever trains. It captures my mind of wonder. Anyway we are now in Santa Fe and will share more pictures from our ride to here. Tomorrow (Friday) we are being personally escorted to historic Santa Fe by Eve Hilse whom is the mother of one of my clients from NC of 18 years. She lives here and we finally made it to Santa Fe. We are very excited for this. U nail next post!!!! Take a hike, be mindful!! S & J

Absolutely Sue. We went thru White Mountains, Salt River Canyon in AZ , stayed at Pinetop-Lakeside AZ. Then went to I 40 from there and did scenery you are doing and loved it.
I loved Navajo reservation, Chinle,
Durango, Pagosa Springs, Santa Fe
Then we went up to Dodge City, KS, thru Arkansas and Tennessee. It was a great trip home, took us 9 days. Have a blast! Love you, be safe! Sue Reaves
