Last morning in Galveston was quite a sunrise.The park was empty except for maybe 12 other rigs. We were awoken by winds so strong I could never go back to sleep. You could hear the whistle through the 5th wheel and I honestly was expecting to start flying through the air like Dorothy in Kansas!! It was so wicked and all I thought was we are going to have one heck of a ride to New Orleans. All in all it was a nice ride. Once we got on the ferry and were on the other side heading towards main grounds the wind was dying down. The ferry took us over to Bolivar Texas. About a 18 minute ferry ride, the waves were crashing and splashing but I felt completely safe!! Catch a sunrise!! S & J
